Our libraries are equipped with a full range of facilities for students, researchers and staff members, including聽computers and facilities for printing, photocopying and scanning.
The study zones are arranged to provide聽areas for silent study and for social learning/group work.
Study zones
At The Sir Michael Cobham Library at Talbot Campus there are:
- Technobooths: ideal for working on group assignments or planning presentations and equipped with a PC, large screen and power point for your own laptop - book your space聽
- PCs on all floors, many of which are bookable,聽and some iMacs on the ground floor
- Silent or quiet study areas聽- on floors two, three and聽four
- Group and social learning areas - on the ground and first floors
- Quiet individual study spaces with PCs or iMacs - on the ground floor
- Postgraduate areas for silent and group study - on the first floor聽
At Weston Library, Bournemouth Gateway Building, Lansdowne Campus there are:

- Quiet individual study carrels, some with PCs
- Group study tables near the large windows聽
- A silent study room with bookable PCs -聽book your space聽

Wireless network
- Extensive wireless coverage provides secure access to electronic resources for students and staff using personal laptops. More information on the wireless network
