Leave your home how you found it! Pack up all your belongings, recycle old items, remove all rubbish, empty or leave out the bins, lock up and return your keys. Make sure all your utility bills, TV licence and direct debits are cancelled/updated and balances are paid – and that you can contact your old housemates over the summer if you need to. Complete an inventory and take photos before you go.

If you have any items to donate to charity, e.g. clothing, shoes, accessories and bric-a-brac, .

And make sure know when you can return your library books.

Most results will be available from late July/early August but your programme support team can let you know exactly when to expect yours. You’ll be able to access results on Brightspace, and a transcript will be sent to you later this summer.ÌýAhead of receiving your results, check our assessment frequently asked questions to better understand the terminology used in your letter.

As an international student, you will need to check your visa conditions if you’re thinking about working in the UK this summer. If you are allowed to work, there are still some rules about  so make sure you know what they are.

Take this time to develop your skills and improve your CV:

1. Research your employer and think about ways you can make the most of your placement experience.
2. Review your social media profiles or consider setting up a professional account to keep your work and social lives separate.
3. Re-enrol and pay your reduced tuition fees before the start of term – you’ll get an email about this nearer the time.

There are always lots of books and online journals you can read, but we're not silly, you've worked hard this year and deserve a break!

A great way of staying up to date on the latest trends is to follow industry experts, awarding bodies and news channels on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.

Term starts for most of you on Monday 23 September 2024 and you can check term dates online.Ìý

Look out for your re-enrolment email in late August - the sooner you register for your next year of study online, the easier it will be to get your loans and any other financial support through on time. If you have any debts to É«»¨ÌÃ, you might need to set up a repayment plan before you can complete your re-registration, contact  for more details.

When you move in to a new property, make sure you complete an inventory and check for any damage or disrepair and make sure you discuss it with your agent or landlord - not only will this make sure you're not liable when you move out, it also means they're aware of the issue and can fix it. It's a good idea to take meter readings and share them with your energy suppliers. And remember to keep yourself and your neighbours happy by checking out when  in the area!

You'll need to re-apply for your student finance for the 2024/25 academic year. Undergraduate students can already do this via the  website and postgraduate students can sign up to receive information about when applications will be open.

If you miss a deadline you can still apply up to nine months after the start of the academic year, but be warned your funding may be delayed and you will need to find a way to financially support yourself in the meantime. Contact AskÉ«»¨ÌÃÌý´Ç°ùÌý if you have any questions.
