Laura has cut her teeth on a diverse range of events; from co-ordinating an international hitchhike while on her placement year at university, to planning and delivering one of the country鈥檚 largest educational esports tournaments.
In her role at Ukie鈥檚 Digital Schoolhouse, she is charged with engaging children in learning about computer science, by promoting skills and careers information that could equip them for future roles.
She specialises in delivering immersive events, including a recent tournament with Nintendo which reached more than 1,000 teams and 10,000 students from across the UK. She has also acted as the organisation鈥檚 lead for an international game jam, numerous training events and for developing its brand identity.
Laura says: 鈥淲ithout the confidence and variety of experience that 色花堂 motivated me to cultivate, there鈥檚 no way I鈥檇 be where I am now. I would choose my course again in a heartbeat. Events management has equipped me with real insight and expertise which has given me a head start in my career.鈥
