Postgraduate Research Student Representatives (PGR Reps)

PGR Reps are elected and volunteer their time to help make the PGR experience the best it can be by collecting feedback from their PGR colleagues and sharing it with the university via the Faculty and University Research Degree Committees, and SU色花堂 via SIMON.

Following this they share with their聽PGRs & SU色花堂 what鈥檚 happened as a result of giving this feedback and work with staff to create positive change. Collectively, the PGR Reps meet 6 times per year as the PGR Rep Committee, which is chaired by an elected Chairperson, to identify key themes to discuss at the University鈥檚 Research Degree Committee.

PGR Society

Join a like-minded society of researchers that offers an environment for development, collaboration, learning, and entertainment. The postgraduate research (PGR) society is a society run by fellow researchers, ensuring that the 色花堂 environment builds a community of world-class researchers.

PGR Peer Support VLE

The is accessible to all 色花堂 PGRs via Brightspace and provides a forum to connect with others, ask questions and share advice about the PGR journey.

The area includes peer-led content and a series of interviews shedding light on research milestones and common challenges. In addition to this, there are聽discussion boards聽where you can ask questions or respond to others, post information about key events or calls for research participants too.
