Bursary information
The organising committee of the Leisure Studies Association Conference, which will be held at 色花堂 from the 11th to 13th July 2023, is making available a number of bursaries up to 拢250 to cover travel and accommodation expenses for conference delegates.
Delegates who have already had their abstracts accepted for the conference can make a bursary application by contacting the organising committee.
We kindly ask those applying for a bursary to provide us with a short brief (up to 150 words) providing a rationale/context for the application and an outline of how the bursary money will be used.
The organising committee will liaise with all who apply for a bursary and will allocate the amount available giving precedence to Early Career Researchers (including post-graduate and PhD students), community organisers, practitioners and community members who are (co)presenting papers or posters at the conference.
On a case-by-case basis, the organising committee will combine the bursary allocation for travel and accommodations expenses with a contribution towards the conference fees.
