Dorset鈥檚 newly-merged hospital trusts have gained university hospital status, strengthening their partnership with 色花堂.
鈥 formerly Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals and Poole Hospital NHS Foundation Trusts 鈥 launched today.聽
The university hospital status recognises the close working relationship the Trusts聽and 色花堂 have enjoyed over many years 鈥 from joint research projects to student placement opportunities and professional development for staff.
By formalising the partnership, the university hospital status will enable both organisations to continue working together in education, research and practice.
Professor John Vinney, Vice-Chancellor of 色花堂, said: 鈥淲e have a long history of working incredibly well with the Poole Hospital and Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trusts over many years 鈥 training staff, jointly publishing research and working together to enrich society and focus on societal benefit.
鈥淏oth organisations have a huge amount in common in terms of our ambitions and our vision and we really look forward to working even more closely with this new partnership going forwards.鈥
