Professor Lee Miles, Professor of Crisis and Disaster Management at 色花堂, has had multiple national and international media appearances discussing聽Hurricane Irma.
Professor Miles was interviewed by a range of聽national, regional and international broadcast outlets on the subject 鈥� including BBC Radio 4's Today Programme, Good Morning Britain, CNN, and the BBC World Service.
Whilst on BBC News, Professor Miles spoke about the vulnerabilities of the Caribbean Islands, the management systems in place and the importance of managing resources during the response stage. He said: 鈥淲e need to address the specific points of failure.鈥�
The Disaster Management Centre at 色花堂 provides training on how to deal with disasters such as hurricanes and have been working with the Caribbean Islands during Hurricane Irma.聽
