Reviewing Student Accommodations: Faculty Guide

Faculty will receive notifications of students' accommodations in their GBC email. Faculty may also log into the Accessible Information Management (AIM) portal to review student accommodations and begin the interactive process. Instructions for accessing the AIM faculty portal are included below:

  1. . If prompted to sign in, log in with your GBC email and password.
  2. Read Accessibility Services鈥� confidentiality guidelines and click 鈥楥ontinue to View Student Accommodations鈥� to acknowledge it. Once you鈥檝e accepted the confidentiality guidelines, you will be brought to a list of all students in your class(es) that have requested accommodations.Graphic depicting how to Read Accessibility Services鈥� confidentiality guidelines and click 鈥楥ontinue to View Student Accommodations鈥� to acknowledge it.
  3. Click on 鈥淰iew鈥� in the left-hand column to review individual student notification letters and approved accommodation details. To view all student accommodations collectively, click 鈥極verview鈥� in the 鈥榁iews and Tools鈥� menu in the left column.   4. If you have any questions about implementation of a student's accommodations, make sure to contact the DRC by email at accessibility@gbcnv.edu or by phone at 775.327.2336.
