As part of that, Cliff will identify information that we are missing and make contact with people who have not provided their information. If Cliff is not successful, then Mike will follow up. Cliff has also put together a summary of GBCs accomplishments throughout the past couple of years using data from the PC minutes. . Policies & Procedures- Mardell Wilkins reported that we will not be renewing Cliff Ferrys contract for the policy and procedures work after December. GBC had five booths. Lynn Mahlberg reported that Assistant Vice Chancellor Crystal Abba was on campus to present the potential tuition bracket and proposed 5% increase to the GBC Student Government Association. Paul Killpatrick will be attending a special Council of Presidents meeting tomorrow to discuss the budget, the salary schedule, and iNtegrate. Bill Reinhard met with Lynn Mahlberg, Stan Aiazzi, and Tracy Shane about the feasibility of a rodeo club. We have limited resources now to create a rodeo club. It may be more feasible in the future. Mike McFarlane reported that Danny Gonzales has sent out request for activities for spring in-service. Some sessions will be dedicated to the accreditation and the faculty evaluation process. Garry Heberer is contacting someone from Blackboard to come and discuss the issues we are having with Webcampus. We can also do one on behavioral issues of students. Ed Nickel has been surprised at the technological levels of faculty using Webcampus. Faculty are sharing information and knowledge and helping one another. Bill Reinhard stated that SCS has Webcampus on the cover of its newsletter. Ed Nickel reported that faculty appreciated Paul and Bill attending the Faculty Senate meeting to communicate information about the budget. Ed will draft a textbook policy over the holiday break. Ed asked what facultys role is on recruiting and how best to communicate that role to the faculty. Lynn recommended getting Tammy Robinson in on this discussion.
